Meet Richie and Jill Hamm, the husband-and-wife duo behind Outcast Brewing Company. Richie is a Florida native hailing from Navarre Beach, while Jill is born and raised in Central Illinois. Together they have 4 kids, 2 dogs, and a life full of chaos and happiness. Although they met in Illinois they knew they wanted the great state of Florida to be their home, and they made the move here full time in 2021. Now that they found their happy place in St. Pete, they had a strong desire to lay some roots in this great city, which is what triggered their idea to start a brewery. Outcast Brewing Company is a brewery born from their passion to create a warm and welcoming experience for everyone. Their vision was clear: to create a unique space where everyone can find their perfect spot, whether they’re beer enthusiasts, cocktail connoisseurs, music lovers, or simply seeking a vibrant place to unwind. The goal of OBC is to create a fun, family friendly place where all are welcome. Outcast Brewing Company is crafted for the outcast in us all!

Outcast Brewing Company is not just a brewery—it’s an experience. Richie and Jill were drawn to this location due to the multiple rooms and the potential to create unique spaces.

At the heart of their creation is a state-of-the-art Brewhouse where innovative craft beers are brewed with care and creativity. Our Brew Master expertly brews a variety of craft beers ranging from hoppy IPA’s to classic pilsners to hard sodas. Our menu of craft beers will be robust and offer various seasonal favorites in addition to staple brews.

If you’relooking to relax and enjoy a cold craft beer you can grab a stool at the main Taproom bar to oder a pint or sample multiple beers with a custom beer flight board.

For those who are looking for a different vibe, we have created The Lounge serving craft cocktails and mocktails. The OBC Team has curated a menu of meticulously crafted wine- based cocktails, featuring both classic and inventive concoctions, all made with premium ingredients. The lounge offers a cozy, sophisticated ambiance perfect for enjoying a night out or a special occasion. Keep an eye on our events page for various “watch parties” in this great space.

Adjacent to the taproom is the Vintage Room for those with a preference for wine and champagne. This space boasts an impressive selection of fine wines and sparkling champagnes, offering a refined atmosphere where guests can savor their favorite libations.

For those who favor a lively place to watch your favorite sporting event you will love The Stadium. This room is decked out with multiple TV’s and a large projector where you can root on your favorite team while enjoying an ice cold craft beer. For the sad days with no sports to watch you can still enjoy this space while playing “Golden Tee” or “Big Buck Hunter.”

The Backyard, is a prime outdoor space designed for relaxation and enjoyment. With it’s 1200 square foot covered pavilion with abundant seating, multiple yard games, and a large stage for regular live music performances, it’s the perfect spot for friends and family to gather and enjoy a cold brew while soaking in the local music scene. From the backyard you have easy access to the various food trucks that will rotate at OBC to provide unique fare to compliment your beer or cocktail.
